About Us

The Baylor University Athletic Training Department is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality medical services to every student-athlete. On-site medical services provided include, but are not limited to, prevention, evaluation, and treatment of injuries and illnesses, rehabilitation services, pre-participation exams, nutritional counseling, psychological counseling, and drug education and counseling.

The Athletic Training team is comprised of a team physician, seven licensed, certified athletic trainers, four orthopedic doctors and other health care professionals throughout Baylor University and the surrounding medical community. This professional staff is responsible for the healthcare and safety of over 500 student-athletes participating in 18 Division I sports in the Big 12 Conference.
