Baylor Bucks? Post-Lottery Mock Drafts 9:08 A.M., THU., MAY 31, 2012 CHRIS YANDLE (EMAIL) Twitter: @BaylorMBB, @BaylorAthletics | Facebook: Baylor Athletics
Perry Jones III is projected to join Ekpe Udoh (above) as a lottery pick in 2012
After the New Orleans Hornets won the NBA's draft lottery Wednesday night, the prognosticators issued their first post-lottery mock drafts. Not much has changed from the last few weeks - most signs point to Baylor having two first-round draft picks for the first time in program history.
With the NBA Draft Combine next week in Chicago, Perry Jones III is projected to become the second lottery pick in program history (Ekpe Udoh, 2010). Speaking of Ekpe, ESPN's Chad Ford is one of the draft analysts that believes PJ3 will join Ekpe in Milwaukee; the Bucks have the No. 12 overall selection. Some analysts think Perry can go as high as No. 7 to Ekpe's former team, Golden State.
As of today, Quincy Miller is assuredly a first-round selection - anywhere from Minnesota at No. 18 to Miami at No. 27. Only a handful of mock drafts list a second round... Quincy Acy is projected by NBADraft.net to go No. 55 overall to the Dallas Mavericks. Hometown team for Acy? That would be a great storyline.
Below is the latest list of NBA Mock Drafts. Baylor has had multiple draft picks only once - 1988 (Micheal Williams, Darryl Middleton) - and has never had multiple first-round picks. Baylor has had only four first-round picks in program history - Vinnie Johnson (1979, Seattle), Terry Teagle (1982, Houston), Brian Skinner (1998, L.A. Clippers) and Udoh (2010, Golden State).

Baylor, Kentucky Series To Continue 5:55 P.M., WED., MAY 23, 2012 CHRIS YANDLE (EMAIL) Twitter: @BaylorMBB, @BaylorAthletics | Facebook: Baylor Athletics

Remember the atmosphere at the Georgia Dome during Baylor's 2012 NCAA Elite Eight showdown with eventual national champion Kentucky? John Calipari, Kentucky head coach, announced Wednesday on his web site that the Baylor-Kentucky series will continue for the next two seasons. Baylor will travel to Lexington this December for a nationally televised game on CBS. In December 2013, Baylor and Kentucky will compete in a unique MBB-WBB doubleheader at Cowboys Stadium, site of the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Final Four.
Kentucky's announcement comes nearly a week after it was announced that Baylor and Mississippi State were cancelling the remainder of their three-game series (Baylor defeated MSU 54-52 in Dallas in December 2011).
