Media from all over the nation got their first chance of the season to talk with head coaches and players from Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas and West Virginia on Tuesday in Dallas at the Westin Galleria Hotel. It marked the final day of the 2012 Big 12 Football Media Days as Baylor's Art Briles, Ahmad Dixon, Nick Florence, Ivory Wade and Terrance Williams answered questions at the annual media gathering.

The coaches and players met with media members in radio and print breakout sessions, interviewed in front of the cameras with multiple national television outlets, sat with Big 12 correspondent Wendell Barnhouse live on the set and did their part for the conference on league-wide PSAs.

Many of the media took to Twitter to voice their on-the-spot opinions as interviews wore on throughout the day. Here's just a few of the impressions left by the Baylor contingent:

From @HornSports: Art Briles is acting like the #Baylor offense will be better this year even without RG3. Like the Swagger.
From @MorganOnAir: Art Briles is impressive...great sound byte. Did great job building up UH & will continue to succeed at #Baylor. #Big12
From @kbohls: Art Briles is killing it. I'm ready to sign with Baylor.

Coach Briles and the players had their own share of impressive comments and thoughts on the upcoming season. Here's just a small snippet of what we overheard:

Head Coach Art Briles: "What we have is a team that believes in itself and is working toward a common goal."
Quarterback Nick Florence: "We still have a lot of weapons on offense. You're going to find out this fall that we didn't drop off at all. You've got to take the pressure and use it to your advantage."
Nickel Back Ahmad Dixon: "We have a lot of experience and a lot of guys who know things we didn't know last year."
Offensive Lineman Ivory Wade: "(Having a target on our backs) is something we've got to get adjusted to, but I think we're handling it well."
Wide Receiver Terrance Williams:"West Virginia. We both have top of the line offenses, so I'm ready for that."

And once the day was complete, the journalists put their fingers to the keyboards and punched out their early stories on the Bears, the new stadium and the season ahead:

Berry Tramel, The Oklahoman: "Big 12 Football: Baylor's Art Briles..."
Keith Whitmire, "Baylor, Oklahoma State..."
Patrick Southern, "Baylor coach Art Briles: `We..."
John E. Hoover, Tulsa World: "Briles says new stadium can help..."
