"B" ASSOCIATION GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
|
We will be holding our General Membership meeting on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:30a.m. in the “B” Room at Floyd Casey Stadium. We will be electing new board members for 2012 and report on the many exciting things happening within the “B” Association. Game day regulations will be enforced at the time of our meeting, so you must park in your assigned parking spot or public parking area and you must present a game ticket to gain entry into the stadium. We have also designated the day as “Letterwinners Day!” Let’s all wear our letter jackets, “B” Association apparel, or green and gold as we cheer our bowl-bound Bears on to victory over the Longhorns. For complete details, see the brochure.

SCOTT DREW TO SPEAK IN "B" ROOM AT HALFTIME OF RICE GAME
|
Please plan to visit the “B” Room at halftime for refreshments and to greet Baylor Men‘s Basketball Head Coach Scott Drew. Drew will give us a preview of the team‘s upcoming season. After taking over the Baylor program in 2003, Drew began what many believed to be an impossible task — rebuild men‘s basketball at Baylor. In less than four years, the program began showing signs of revival, and from 2007- 2010, Baylor rose to national prominence after three consecutive 20-win seasons and three straight postseason appearances, including a berth in the championship game of the 2009 National Invitation Tournament and the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight in 2010. As the seventh-year head coach at Baylor in 2009-10, he guided the Bears to school records for overall (28), Big 12 (11) and home (15) victories. Drew completed his ninth season as a head coach at the Division I level, compiling a 147-127 overall record with a 127- 116 mark in eight seasons at Baylor.

GAME DAY SUPPORT KEEPS GROWING
|
A message from Executive Director, Walter Abercrombie
For the second consecutive home game you have answered the call by turning out in huge numbers at Floyd Casey Stadium and cheering the Bears on to two very impressive victories. As letterwinners, you know the value of having a loyal and dedicated home crowd. Your presence is also being felt in the “B” Association. This season, more than 1,200 people have visited the letterwinners‘ room on game days to enjoy great fellowship and delicious meals and refreshments. “B” Association members who visit the “B” Room on game days can also receive updates on their favorite sports as Baylor head coaches are scheduled to speak in the room at each home game. The “B” Room is definitely the place to hang out at home games. While we are excited about more people visiting the room on game days, please be reminded of the following policies which govern our room as they relate to family members and guests:
Each letterwinner may bring in two guests at no charge in addition to immediate family members. Additional guests, which will be limited to two, will be required to pay a $10.00 fee. “Guests” will be whomever a letterwinner brings in other than his/ her married spouse and their minor children.
Thank you, and I‘ll see you at the CASE!
