No. 15 Baylor pulled out a thrilling Alamo Bowl victory in the highest-scoring bowl game in history, beating Washington 67-56 in a record-smashing shootout Thursday night.

The victory game Baylor its first 10-win season since 1980.

The previous bowl record for a regulation game was 102 total points set in the 2001 GMAC Bowl between Marshall and East Carolina. That game went to double overtime and ended with a combined 125 points - which still stands as the overall bowl record.

Baylor and Washington (7-6) also set a bowl record for total offense in a game with 1,377 yards.

In an effort to make your trip to San Antonio as enjoyable as the sunny weather this week, here are a few tidbits to consider:

• Every person entering the Alamodome will need a ticket for admission. You can enter any gate and go to any level in the stadium with any game ticket. If you need to purchase an additional seat, there are single seats available for $35+service fee. Click here.

• The AT&T Fan Zone (one block north of the Alamodome) is our popular interactive and pregame area that opens at 3 p.m. on game day. Over 30,000 fans are expected to enjoy the offerings at the Fan Zone including an appearance by the university bands so please allot time to arrive early.

• The onsite Alamodome lots are at capacity, but if already have a pass or want to investigate other options, please click here.

• For attendees driving into town, it's best to arrive west of downtown, park and then walk east to the stadium. The closer you get to the stadium the busier traffic will be. If you are coming down 35 South to the game, here are three options.

    1. Exit North New Braunfels and head South (left) toward the lots North of the Alamodome (2 miles).
    2. Take 281/37 South, the most direct route to downtown/Alamodome, and exit Brooklyn or Houston but be prepared for congestion around kickoff.
    3. Stay on 35 South and go around downtown and exit Cesar Chavez/Downtown. You are 2 miles from the Alamodome so continue heading west to find available parking.

Baylor kicked off day two in San Antonio with a 9 a.m. practice, but there were several Baylor players not in attendance. 11 Bears were lucky enough to get exclusive access to SeaWorld Texas before it opened to the public.

Six Bears got to put on a "one-size-fits-all" wetsuit and jump in the pool with beluga whales, while the other five competed in a situp contest vs. walruses at SeaWorld.

Shortly after finishing practice at Incarnate Word in front of a nice Baylor crowd, the remaining BU players made their way to SeaWorld where they had three hours to venture around the park. Whether it was taking in the sea lion show, visiting the shark exhibit or riding the roller coasters at the park, the Bears enjoyed some down time before getting back to meetings and film Monday afternoon.

After lunch, Baylor took in the San Antonio Spurs' season opener vs. the Memphis Grizzlies. was there to capture all of today's action, including several behind-the-scenes videos courtesy of sophomore nickleback Ahmad Dixon (reporter) & junior wideout Lanear Sampson (videographer).
