Baylor University conferred degrees during summer commencement exercises on Saturday, Aug. 16, in the Ferrell Center and among those receiving bachelor's degrees were six student-athletes. In addition, one student-athlete received a master's degree. During the 2008 academic year, 75 Baylor student-athletes received their bachelor's degrees and 12 were awarded master's degrees.

Among those student-athletes graduating are four football players and one each from baseball, men's golf, track and field and volleyball.
