Gameday Parking Impact on Campus

Aug. 27, 2014

A reminder for all of our faculty, staff and students that this weekend's opening of McLane Stadium will require some modifications in the parking routines for all of us.

This is an exciting weekend for the University as we open McLane Stadium. From the Traditions Rally on Thursday to Gameday on Sunday, we strongly encourage campus residents to enjoy the walk over the Umphrey Pedestrian Bridge to McLane Stadium.

Beginning Friday, Aug. 29, preparation for Baylor Gameday will include parking lot closures as well as accommodations for student parking and transportation elsewhere on campus.

Fans who don't have pre-paid parking, who don't arrive more than four hours ahead to park in one of the limited number of spaces in interior campus lots, or who arrive after campus lots are filled, will be directed to other alternative parking locations, such as downtown or the Olive Heights Neighborhood. No single-game reserved parking passes will be sold.
