Waco, Texas - The Baylor University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host its first Food for Families Can Drive at Saturday's Baylor-Texas A&M football game at Floyd Casey Stadium. Donations can be made from 1 p.m. through the end of the first half.

All fans attending the 105th rendition of the Battle of the Brazos are asked to bring a canned food item to Saturday's football game. Baylor student-athletes will be collecting the canned food goods before the game at each Floyd Casey Stadium entrance gate. Canned food items collected on Saturday will help fill the food pantries of Central Texas.

The SAAC is a committee comprised of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience at Baylor University. SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' on-campus experience.

Softball's Alex Colyer is President of Baylor's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and is co-chairing the can drive with track and field's Logan Roberts, who is the organization's vice president and was recently elected vice chair of the Big 12's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Kickoff for Saturday's Baylor-Texas A&M football game is set for 3:05 p.m. in Waco and tickets may be purchased by calling 254.710.1000 or on-line at baylorbears.com.
