WACO, Texas - In graduation ceremonies held at the Ferrell Center on Saturday, Dec. 21, 18 Baylor student-athletes from eight sports earned their bachelor's (18) or master's degree (2). All-told, 1,413 student-athletes have earned their bachelor's degree and 69 have received master's degrees since Baylor joined the Big 12 Conference in 1996.
The fall graduating class of 18 receiving bachelor's degrees begins the 2013-14 Baylor academic year. Another group of 70 student-athletes are slated to graduate during spring commencement exercises in May while five are projected to graduate in August ceremonies.
"We are very proud of our student-athletes who excelled both academically and athletically at Baylor," said Baylor Director of Athletics Ian McCaw. "These student-athletes are a part of the most successful era in Baylor Athletics history and graduate with our best wishes for continued success and happiness."
