Henry Howard joined the Athletics Department at Baylor University in September 2005. The 2014 new year brought a new role within the Athletics Department. As of January 2014, Howard has managed Athletics Event Management & Facilities as Associate Athletics Director. His staff coordinates the home event management logistics for all 19 varsity sports and manages the athletics facilities. Baylor University's athletic facilities include Williams Golf Practice Facility (2016), Beauchamp Athletics Nutrition Center (2015), Williams Family Soccer Center (2015), McLane Stadium (2014), Hart Track & Field Stadium (2014), Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center (2013), Getterman Indoor Hitting Facility (2010), Allison Indoor Football Practice Facility (2009), Simpson Athletics & Academic Center (2008), Willis Equestrian Center (2006), Hurd Tennis Center (2001), Bailey Golf Center (2001), Getterman Stadium (2000), Baylor Ballpark (1999), Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field (1998), and the Ferrell Center (1988). Additional duties include Volleyball sport administration and oversight of the Athletics Department concessionaire SAVOR.

Howard spent the first eight year within the department as a member of the Business Office. Initially, Howard was the Assistant Business Manager. After two years of assisting with the daily financial operations, he was promoted to Business Manager. In that role, Howard managed financial operations for 19 varsity sports. In November 2010, Howard accepted the position of Assistant Athletics Director of Business and he became more involved in the Athletics Departments budgetary process.

A native of Waco, TX, Howard attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1996 - 2001. While in Nacogdoches, he was a member of the Men's Basketball program and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration double major in Finance & Economics. He married his best friend, Molly Pack, in 2008.
