Matt Kuehl joined the Baylor staff in August 2017. He serves as an athletics trainer with the football program.
Prior to moving to Baylor, Kuehl spent three seasons at Northern Illinois as the head football athletic trainer from 2014-17. Kuehl also served on the athletic training staff at Kansas from 2010-14.
Kuehl worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Arizona State from 2007-09 and spent one year as a seasonal intern with the New England Patriots in 2009-10.
Kuehl earned a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State-Mankato in 2007 and a master’s degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz. He was born in Denver, Colo. and played football and wrestled at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wis.
A native of Hartland, Wisc., Kuehl is married to the former Emily Thomas.
