Brad Sheffield begins his second year as assistant director of media relations/coordinator of new media at Baylor, serving as the primary contact for BaylorBears.com and secondary contact for football. Sheffield joins Baylor after one year at the University of North Texas where he served as the media relations assistant. While at North Texas, Sheffield was the primary contact for swimming and diving and track and field, as well as the assistant contact for football. Prior to North Texas, Sheffield was the Sports Information Director and Assistant Director of Athletic Marketing at the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, S.D. Sheffield graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2006 with a degree in journalism-public relations where he spent two years as the sports editor for the SHSU student-paper, The Houstonian. Sheffield and his wife, Leslie, have been married for three years. |
