Tim joins Baylor University Athletic Performance after spending the 2016-17 academic year as campus & sports dietitian at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. In this role, he created the school's first sports nutrition program, which included team educations, individual nutrition consults and a variety of other services.
Prior to Plymouth State, DiLeo was a sport performance dietitian at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he worked extensively with football, men's basketball, baseball, swimming and diving, fencing, and women's rowing. He was also a member of the UNC Eating Disorder Treatment Team on campus.
Originally from Franklin, MA, DiLeo graduated from Springfield College (`10) where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Applied Exercise Science and played basketball. After spending time in the strength and conditioning field, DiLeo returned to Framingham State University where he received a Master's degree in Human Nutrition and Food Science (`15).
DiLeo is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and is a member of the Collegiate & Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA) as well as the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
