Baylor has won a combined 34 Big 12 regular season (22) and tournament (12) championships in the Big 12's 13-year history, five better than the 29 total (26 regular season and three tournament) titles earned in 81 years of Southwest Conference membership.
Baylor's 34 all-time Big 12 Conference titles have come in seven sports - men's tennis (16), women's tennis (10), women's basketball (3), baseball (2), softball (1), soccer (1) and men's golf (1).
Over the last six academic years (2003-04 through 2008-09), Baylor has won a combined 25 Big 12 regular-season and tournament championships in five different sports, which ranks No. 2 behind Texas' 44 crowns over that period.
In that same six-year span, (2003-04 through 2008-09), Baylor has won two NCAA team championships ('04 men's tennis and '05 women's basketball) and 13 NCAA individual titles.
Baylor won five 2008-09 Big 12 Conference championships, two regular season (men's tennis and women's tennis) and three tournament (men's tennis, women's tennis and women's basketball).
Baylor earned a sixth-straight Top 50 ranking in the NACDA Directors' Cup in 2008-09, recording its third-highest finish ever in the all-sports sweepstakes at No. 33. Baylor finished 47th in 2003-04, 25th in 2004-05, 32nd in 2005-06, 38th in 2006-2007 and 42nd in 2007-08.
