2001: Earned All-American honors clearing a height of 17-4 1/2 to place sixth in the pole vault at the NCAA Outdoor Championships… Reached NCAA provisional qualification standards in four of his five performances during the spring... Best clearance was 17-8 1/2 for second place at the Big 12 Championships, a career-best finish at the conference meet...That height was also an outdoor career best... Finished second at the Michael Johnson Classic, clearing 17-6 1/2...
