Raynee Degrio is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Baylor cross country and track and field teams. Degrio is currently working towards a master's degree in sport pedagogy and serving as a graduate teaching assistant in the Health, Human Performance and Recreation Department at Baylor.

Degrio competed in track and field and cross country at Division III St. Thomas (Minn.) University, where she helped the Tommies win two cross country four indoor and four outdoor Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles. Degrio earned all-MIAC honors 10 times in her track and field career, specializing in the middle distance and steeplechase.

A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., Degrio graduated from St. Thomas with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in chemistry.
