Track & Field Hosts 14 Teams For Michael Johnson Invitational

Bears will have 63 athletes in action in final home meet of 2016.

2010: Placed fifth in the 'B' section of the pole vault at the Texas Relays with a season-best clearance of 16-05.25...Cleared 15-05 to place second at the Victor Lopez Classic...Finished third at the indoor Razorback Invitational, clearing 16-0.75...Placed 15th at the indoor conference championships (15-05.75) and 14th outdoors (15-08.75).

2009: Won the Dr Pepper Invitational in the pole vault with a season-best clearance of 5.00m (16-04.75)...Took second at the LSU Relays with a height of 4.90m (16-00.75)...During the indoor season, cleared a season-best height of 5.05m (16-06.75) to finish 11th at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational...Took fourth at the Texas A&M Invitational with a clearance of 4.96m (16-03.25).

2008: Competed in one outdoor meet before suffering a season-ending injury...Received a medical hardship and will retain freshman eligibility for the outdoor season...Won the Dr Pepper Invitational with a clearance of 4.60m (15-01) in the pole vault...During the indoor season, finished 20th at the Razorback Invitational with a height of 4.65m (15-03).

High School: Track and field letterwinner at Aledo High School...2007 Nike All-American...Ranked eighth in the nation, and sixth among high school seniors...Placed second at Texas Relays as a senior with a clearance of 16-06...Cleared 16-09 to win the 2007 San Marcos River Vault...Holds the school record in the pole vault at 16-09...Jumped over 16 feet in nine meets as a senior...In the classroom, was a member of FCA, and volunteered with Jumping Jamboree assisting with mentally challenged kids.
