2003: Finished 15th in the 400 meters at the Big 12 Indoor Championships (2/28) with a time of 49.34...Finished fourth in the 400 at the Tom Tellez Invitational (3/29) with an outdoor personal best time of 49.28.

2002: Ran the 400 both indoors and outdoors...Finished 16th in the event at the outdoor conference championships...Recorded a season-best time of 47.85 to take third at the UTSA Relays (3/16).

High School: Four-sport letterwinner at Lorena High School in Lorena, Texas...State champion in the 400 meters...Clocked one of the nation's top 400 times (47.39) as a prep...Two-time district champion in the 110-meter hurdles...An all-district selection as quarterback of the Lorena football team... Earned all-district honors as a centerfielder on the baseball team...Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Oct. 1, 1982 in Waco, Texas...Son of Jay and Chris Jeffrey...Also a reserve quarterback on the Baylor football team...Father, Jay, quarterbacked Baylor to the 1980 Southwest Conference championship, while his uncle Neal, started at QB on the Bears' 1974 "Miracle on the Brazos" SWC title team...Majoring in business.
