Jordan Lewis is in his second season as a volunteer coach with the Bears after a standout career at Baylor.

Lewis was the 2003 Big 12 champion in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 51.33 and ran a season-best 51.19 at the Texas Relays and finished second at the Drake Relays. He also helped lead the Bears to an indoor conference title in the distance medley relay.

In 2002, he earned All-Big 12 honors in the indoor 600 yards and earned All-Big 12 honors outdoors in the 400-meter hurdles.

Prior to Baylor, Lewis attended Fresno Pacific University and Bakersfield College. He claimed the Western Sports Conference and Southern Californai 400-meter hurdles title in 2001.

Lewis is a native of Shafter, Calif.
