2010: Earned all-Big 12 honors, placing third in the javelin with a throw of 229-06...Broke his own javelin school record at the Texas Relays with a toss of 239-07 to win the 'b' section...Won the javelin title at the Victor Lopez Classic with a throw of 211-06 and the Michael Johnson Classic with a throw of 230-04...Placed 19th in the javelin at the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds at 207-02...Competed in the javelin at the USA Championships, finishing 14th with a toss of 218-00.

2009: Earned All-Midwest Region honors with an eighth-place finish at the region meet with a mark of 63.73m (209-01)...Runner-up at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a best mark of 62.55m (205-02)...Won the Texas Invitational with a throw of 63.04m (206-10)...Set a new school record of 66.58m (218-05) to finish third overall at the Texas Relays.

2008: Recorded a season-best toss of 62.87m (206-03) in the javelin at the NCAA Midwest Regional to finish 10th...The mark ranks as the second-best in Baylor history...Won the Dr Pepper Invitational with a throw of 62.25m (204-03)...Also finished first at the Michael Johnson Classic, recording a mark of 62.04m (203-06)...Finished ninth at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships with a throw of 59.98m (196-09).

Three-year letterwinner in track and field at DeSales High School...2007 National Junior Olympic champion in the javelin with a throw of 206-02...Also won the state championship as a senior...2007 athlete of the year finalist...Also won the state championship in the javelin as a junior...State runner-up as a sophomore...Two-time winner, and record holder at 198-11, at the Carnival of Speed in Oregon...Ranked 12th in the nation, and ninth among high school seniors...Finished 10th in the state meet in the 100 meters with a time of 11.3, and holds a personal best in the 400 meters of 53.1...Also lettered four years in football and once in baseball...Served as the football team captain...In the classroom, was a member of the honor roll.
