2017 Cross Country: Scoring runner in five of six races during first cross country season…Had strong showing at season-opening Bear Twilight Invitational, finishing third overall with a time of 18:13.2 (6,000m)...Was the second Bear to cross the finish line at Pre-Nationals and finished 126th overall (25:35.4)…Finished fifth overall at the Ken Garland Invitational on the four-mile course (20:46.0)…Was final scoring runner at the Joe Piane Invitational (25:45.0)…Final scoring performance was at the Big 12 Championship, coming in third with a time of 25:12.8 on the 8K course…Ended season by finishing 91st overall at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships with a 32:21.6 on the 10K course.
2017 Track: Earned All-Big 12 accolades after placing seventh in the mile run with a time of 4:19.37 at the Big 12 Indoor Championship...Also placed in four other indoor meets, posting a personal-best 4:09.81 at the Tyson Invitational…Participated in the 800 and 1,500 meters races during four outdoor meets…Ran 1:54.13 to claim third in the 800 meters at the TCU Invitational…Recorded top-six finishes in three other meets in the 1,500 meters.
