What's the most positive thing you've seen from your team this season?
The competition, we have a lot of people out there who are capable of running fast. We really push each other at practice so we can get those final spots at the end of the day.
As a senior, how do you think the program has progressed in the last three years?
I transferred in from Florida, so I haven't been here that long, but it's progressed a lot. With more maturity in the program, it'll get even better.
What has been your greatest track moment over the past three years?
Last year indoors, I won the Big 12 Indoor Athlete of the Year. I've never had an honor of such prestige before.
What are your post-school ambitions?
Right now, I'm just trying to graduate. I haven't thought about it too much. If I make it in track, I'll do that, but I just want to graduate and get a degree. I promised my mom that I'd get my degree first; I'm like 20 credits away.
Why'd you cut your hair?
I'm about to be 22 soon, so I thought I'd go with the more mature look.
