Ex-Baylor star is a shade talented ... and cool, too

By CHAREAN WILLIAMS WACO -- They have become Jeremy Wariner's trademark. But if his sunglasses intimidate competitors or make him look "cool," those are ancillary benefits. The Olympic gold medalist said he wears sunglasses, even at night, because they help him focus. "When I look out of my glasses, I really don't see side to side," Wariner said. "I just see straight ahead. That's more what I'm worried about: What's in front of me instead of who I'm running against or who's in the crowd. I'm more focused on my goals and the path I'm supposed to be going."
