Cross Country Women Roll South To Texas A&M Invitational

2017 Track:
Participated in five meets during the indoor season, earning first career All-Big 12 honors…Placed sixth in 800 meters with time of 2:09.01 to place for the Big 12 indoor champion women’s team…Ran the opening leg of the seventh place distance medley relay to earn All-Big 12 recognition…Won the Charlie Thomas Invitational 800 meters with a time of 2:07.98…Had a personal-best time of 2:07.60 at the Iowa State Classic…Also earned two top-five finishes at the first two meets of the season, finishing as runner up at Texas A&M Team Invitational (2:10.34)…Named to spring Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Baylor Dean’s List...Earned spot on Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.

2016 Cross Country:
Ran in four meets during the fall, finishing as high as 23rd at the Bear Twilight Invitational with a time of 15:07.2 in the 4K…Placed 32nd at the Notre Dame Invitational Open in the 5K, running 18:37.7…Also ran at Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Open…Did not finish at Big 12 Championship…Named to fall Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School:
Won pair of titles at 2016 New Zealand National Championships, taking 800 (2:08.97) and 1,500 (4:36.22) meters...Represented New Zealand at 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships, advancing to semifinals and recording a personal-best time of 2:06.32...Placed sixth in 800 meters (2:07.23) at Australian Senior Championships in 2016...Won Wellington Regional titles in 400 and 800 meters in 2016...Was third in 2015 New Zealand National Championships in 400 meters with time of 58.14.
