2017 Cross Country: Competed in two meets, including a scoring performance at the Aggieland Open…Finished third on the team with a 5K time of 21:05.5 to finish 32nd overall…Also ran at the Ken Garland Invitational, finishing 28th in 21:34.9…Earned spot on Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
2017 Track: Did not compete in any meets…Named to spring Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Baylor Dean’s List.
2016 Cross Country: Participated in four meets during first season…Opened collegiate career at the Bear Twilight Invitational, logging 4K time of 16:03.5…Was a scoring runner at the Ken Garland Invitational, finishing 32nd with a time of 19:59.1…Ended season at Aggieland Open, running 19:49.95 to finish 20th and score for the Bears…Named to fall Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Baylor Dean’s List.
High School: Three-year letterwinner of cross country and track teams at Saint Thomas More Academy in Raleigh, N.C. for head coaches Franz Klein and Patrick Kurz...Named All-State runner in senior season, after helping Chancellors to runner-up finish at state NCISSA meet and third-straight cross country conference title...Was team captain for both cross country and track squads during junior and senior seasons as well as team MVP in sophomore, junior and senior years for cross and sophomore and junior years for track...Set personal bests of 5:32.63 (1,600m), ,12:03.01 (3,200m) and 19:55.30 (5K)...Graduated as valedictorian and was National Merit Commended Scholar.
