2013 Track: Did not compete in any indoor events...Took part in three outdoor meets...Turned in season-best time (8:46.79) in 3,000-meters to be 10th at Texas Invitational...Ran the 3,000-meters at the Baylor Quad Invitational (7th, (;07.64) and the 5,000-meters at the Michael Johnson Classic (12th, 15:57.13)...Named to the spring Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Baylor Dean's List....Earned spot on Academic All-Big 12 rookie team.

2012 Cross Country: Was a scoring runner for BU in three of four meets...Opened season with eighth-place finish at UTA Season Opener in 15:23.7 over three-mile course to be third Baylor runner over finish line as team took second...Was fourth Bear to finish at Stanford Invitational in time of 26.24 to be 122nd overall on 8,000-meter course...Finished 66th at Big 12 Championships, but did not score for BU in time of 26:52.2...Named to the fall Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Baylor Dean's List.

High School: Four-time district champion and state qualifier in cross country at Redwater High School for head coach Janice McMellon...Helped the Eagles to three team district championships, two regional appearances and two state appearances... Ran for four years on track team for head coach Gary Fox...Won four district championships in 3200 event, three in 1600...Finished sixth at state meet in 3200 (2012) and 1600 in 2011...Set school record at five kilometer(15:50), 3200 meters (9:46) and 1600 meters (4:30)...Valedictorian of his senior class...Member of National Honor Society...Two-Time UIL academic state qualifier.
