When did you start playing your sport?
Junior year in high school

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My High school coach. Coach Simmons. He was the first person I had run for.

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Coming in having a bunch of friends and a great team

Favorite sport other than your own?
Surfing

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Nae. It's easier to pronounce.

After meeting Coach Harbour, what was your first thought?
I thought that I would never find a coach who cared more about his team.

Do you have a pre-race ritual, if so what is it?
Listen to my ipod to get in the zone.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
School supplies

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Steve Prefontaine

What is the highlight of your sports career?
When I made All-Conference in '08.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Falling at the Tyson Invite

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
A belief in myself and having confidence

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
Texas Tech and Rice, whoever is in front of us.

What is one thing Coach Harbour always tells you?
Take your airborne and eat lots of calories.

What is your favorite team road trip?
When we went to the Stanford Invitational in '08.

Who is your biggest fan?
My mom

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
To chill out sometimes.

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Coach Harbour

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Always run so that you don't have any regrets.

Fun, smart, and interesting
