Competitive Cheer takes on three teams at Saturday's Azusa Pacific Invitational.

WACO, Texas - Baylor Competitive Cheer heads to Azusa, Calif. this weekend to compete in the Azusa Pacific Invitational against Azusa Pacific, Fairmont State and Quinnipiac at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cougar Dome.
Baylor (1-2) opened its inaugural season with a win at No. 3 Fairmont State, then dropped a close match at top-ranked Maryland and fell to No. 2 Oregon in the program's first-ever home meet on Jan. 23. The invitational is the first time Baylor will compete against multiple teams in one event.
Azusa Pacific (0-1) will be competing at home for the first time this season. The Cougars opened their season with a loss at Oregon on Jan. 29.
Fairmont State (0-2) will be competing for the first time in two months. The Falcons lost to Baylor on Dec. 3 and fell to Quinnipiac two days later.
Quinnipiac (1-1) lost by less than two points at No. 1 Maryland on Dec. 4, but the Bobcats rebounded to beat Fairmont State by less than a point the next day.
After the Azusa Pacific Invitational, Baylor returns home to host its final home meet of the season. The Bears will take on Azusa Pacific and Maryland at 6 p.m. on Feb. 24 at the Ferrell Center.
