WACO, Texas - Baylor head competitive cheer coach Karry Forsythe announced the addition of Brian Doyle to her coaching staff Tuesday. Doyle will be the program's assistant coach as it begins its inaugural season.
"I am thrilled to have Brian join our staff and help begin our inaugural season," Forsythe said. "He has a great coaching background and will be a tremendous asset to our team. Not only is Brian a great tumbling coach, he is also very determined and organized."
Doyle joins the Baylor staff after spending four years at Texas State, where he coached both all-girl and co-ed cheerleading teams.
Raised in Grapevine, Texas, Doyle attended Colleyville Heritage High School and graduated from Texas State with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication in 2007. He is a member of the American Cheerleaders Association.
