OKLAHOMA CITY - Josh Turley tossed his third career complete game, and Josh Ludyblasted two home runs and tied a Big 12 Championship record with six RBI to lead Baylor to an 11-1 run-rule win over Kansas State on Wednesday afternoon at Bricktown Ballpark.

Baylor (43-12) scored three runs in three straight innings and walked off with a run-rule victory after Jake Millercame home to score on a wild pitch in the seventh, giving the Bears' the necessary 10-run lead to end the game.

Turley (9-0) allowed only one run on five hits with two walks in 7.0 innings. It was the seventh straight start Turley has worked at least 7.0 innings, and he's posted a 6-0 record and 1.03 ERA over 55.2 innings during that stretch. Two of Turley's three career complete games have been in postseason play, and this was the second time this season he went the distance against Kansas State (26-30).

"Josh (Turley) definitely wasn't on his A-game at all, but he was on a good game," head coach Steve Smithsaid. "He pitched it well. The guys did make some plays behind him, but most of them were pretty routine."

Ludy, who was named Big 12 Player of the Year on Tuesday, hit his 10th and 11th home runs of the season in the fourth and fifth innings. Six of his 11 home runs on the season have come against Kansas State, and he drew a bases-loaded walk for his sixth RBI to tie the Big 12 Championship record.

The Bears broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning after Logan Vick knocked a two-out single and Ludy followed with a towering two-run homer into the bleachers beyond the left-field wall. Max Muncy, Dan Evatt and Cal Toweycombined on three straight singles to give the Bears a 3-0 lead through four innings.

Lawton Langforddrew a two-out walk in the fifth, Vick singled into left-field on a perfectly executed hit-and-run, and Ludy then broke the game open with a three-run line drive homer to left field that gave the Bears a 6-0 lead. Ludy reached in all four plate appearances, adding a walk and a hit-by-pitch.

Nathan Orfwent 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI, and Vick, Ludy, Evatt and Towey had two hits apiece for the Bears. Tanner Witt had K-State's only multi-hit game, finishing 2-for-3 with the Wildcats lone run scored.

KSU starter Kayvon Bahramzadeh (7-4) took the loss after allowing six runs on nine hits in 4.2 innings. The Wildcats' bullpen combined to allowed five runs on five hits in 2.0 innings of relief.

Turley worked around a single and a walk in the first inning, then settled in and retired eight straight before a one-out single in the sixth. Jared King followed with a double to put two runners in scoring position, and Wade Hinkle drove in KSU's only run with a groundout.

"My command was a little off, and I didn't have a very good feel for my pitches today," Turley said. "The thing about baseball is if you just throw strikes, you never know what's going to happen. I tried to get back in the zone after the first two innings of being all over the place."

With the win, Baylor tied the NCAA record for most wins in an academic year among the four biggest sports of football, men's basketball, women's basketball and baseball. The Bears have 123 wins between the four sports, tying the record set by Texas in 2003-04.
