WACO, Texas - Baylor Athletics announced on Monday that five of its home games this season will air on FOX Sports Southwest. Additionally, the Bears shifted their Sunday game of the Illinois series into a doubleheader on Saturday, March 9.
FSN Southwest's list of TV broadcasts includes games against Louisiana Tech, Oklahoma and Texas. The first game to air will be tomorrow's 6:30 p.m. CT contest against Louisiana Tech at Baylor Ballpark. The entire three-game series on April 12-14 with Oklahoma will also be aired. The final broadcast will be the last game of the Texas series on April 28.
In order to accommodate travel arrangements for Illinois, the teams have agreed to play a doubleheader on Saturday to conclude the three-game series. The first game will start at 2 p.m. and the second at 6:30 p.m. The doubleheader gives BU its second on the schedule as it will also play two games on March 16 in Houston against New Orleans and Houston.
Fans who have a men's basketball ticket to Baylor's March 9 regular season finale against Kansas can use it for admission to either baseball game on Saturday or the softball team's Noon doubleheader against Purdue at Getterman Stadium.
Fresh off a 3-1 week with two wins over ranked opponents, the Bears begin a two-game set with Louisiana Tech tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. The teams also play Wednesday at 4 p.m.
