WACO, Texas- Baylor baseball wraps up its four-game home stand by welcoming No. 4 Cal State Fullerton to town this weekend. Games are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. The finale will be televised live on FOX Sports Southwest.
Baylor (6-6) enters the weekend after a 3-2 win over Lamar on Wednesday for its fifth straight win to start the Bears' home schedule. The Titans (7-3) come to Waco riding a five-game winning streak after sweeping No. 9 Oregon on the road last weekend. Baylor is 2-4 all-time against the Titans and 1-2 in Waco. Against Baseball America top five teams, the Bears have won each of their last three contests and are 11-6 against ranked teams since 2012. Saturday's game marks the 500th contest at Baylor Ballpark as the first 2,000 fans will receive a commemorative poster.

BAYLOR BALLPARK'S HOME SWEET HOME ADVANTAGE
In Baylor's first five home games of the 2014 season, it outscored its opponents 40-8 with a 5-0 record and team .309 batting average while BU's pitchers racked up 41 strikeouts in 43.0 innings, allowing just 19 hits and nine walks. Since the park opened in 1999, Baylor owns a 354-144 record at Baylor Ballpark and has never had a losing season in the stadium. The closest BU came to a losing season was in 2011, when the Bears were 16-14 at Baylor Ballpark. The last time Baylor started its home season with five or more straight wins was in 2012 (7-0).
BAYLOR SHAKES SKIDS VS. LAMAR
Despite Baylor's 42-31-1 edge over Lamar in the all-time series, the Cardinals had taken each of the last three meetings until BU's 3-2 win Wednesday evening. The Bears improved to 23-12 in Waco against Lamar and 202-111-1 all-time against current members of the Southland Conference. The win ended a four-game losing streak for Baylor overall after a rough weekend in San Diego. The key to victory was a three-run seventh that was fueled by an RBI single from Brett Doe and RBI walks by Logan Brown and Lawton Langford.
BAYLOR PLAYS GAME NO. 500 AT BAYLOR BALLPARK MARCH 8
Baylor's March 8th game against Cal State Fullerton will mark the 500th game played at Baylor Ballpark. The Bears own a 354-144 record since the park opened in 1999. In its 16th year, the park has hosted four NCAA Regionals and three NCAA Super Regionals as the Bears are 14-8 in postseason play during that stretch. Baylor's best season record-wise at Baylor Ballpark came in 2012, when the Bears were 34-6 at home, and BU has never had a losing season in the park. The park's largest average season attendance (3,255) and largest total season attendance (126,947) were both in 2012. The largest three-game series crowd came June 9-11, 2012, vs. Arkansas (15,104). The largest single-game crowd was April 21, 2012, vs. Texas A&M (5,911). The first-ever game in the park came on Feb. 26, 1999, and was a 22-6 win over Kansas State.
BAYLOR AGAINST BASEBALL AMERICA RANKED TEAMS
Baylor is 184-267-1 all-time against teams ranked by Baseball America, including a 41-74 mark against top five teams. Since 2012, BU is 11-6 against ranked teams and has won nine of its last 13 such games. The last time BU faced a top five team was No. 2 Texas A&M on April 20-22, 2012, and the Bears took all three games. At home against ranked teams, Baylor owns an all-time 102-99-1 record. In its last seven games against top 10 teams, BU has six wins.
BAYLOR IN TV GAMES
Baylor is 48-53 all-time in TV games and 1-0 this season after making its debut on the Pac-12 Network in the season-opener at Arizona State. Since 2011, BU is 18-12 in TV games. On the FOX family of networks, BU is 13-23. Baylor has won four of its last five TV games against Baseball America top 10 teams.
BAYLOR AGAINST BIG WEST CONFERENCE FOES
Baylor is 13-20 all-time against current members of the Big West Conference. The only team Baylor is even or better with is UC Irvine (6-6). BU has lost each of its last three games against the conference after being swept at UC Irvine to open the 2013 season.
