WACO, Texas - Continuing a six-game home stand, Baylor will face Illinois for a three-game series over two days this weekend. The contests are slated for 6:35 p.m. CT on Friday and 2:05 p.m. and 6:35 p.m. in a Saturday doubleheader.

Baylor has won three games in a row for the first time all season and has wins in five of its last six games to put the Bears over .500 for the first time. Two of the games (Pepperdine and Louisiana Tech) have been comeback, walk-off wins. During the six-game stretch BU is hitting .290, holding opponents to a .163 average and has a 3.81 ERA.

BAYLOR VS. ILLINOIS SERIES HISTORY
The series between Baylor and Illinois is tied 1-1. Illinois won the initial meeting on May 23, 1998 in an 8-7 decision at the NCAA South I Regional in Gainesville, Fla. to end BU's season. The Bears won the most recent tilt 20-6 at Baylor Ballpark on February 29, 2008.

During the streak, he is hitting .414 with 15 RBI, eight runs, six walks, two doubles, a triple, homer and steal. He has also reached base safely in all nine games and has multiple hits in four.
