Baylor leads the Big 12 Conference with a perfect 15-0 record.
WACO, Texas - A number of promotions are available for the No. 6-ranked baseball team's rivalry games against Texas A&M (Saturday and Sunday) and Texas (May 17) at Baylor Ballpark, the Baylor athletic department announced Monday.
There will be a fireworks show, presented by Capstone Mechanical, following Saturday's Battle of the Brazos game, and a McDonald's Family Four Pack that includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four drinks and vouchers for two happy meals is available for $36 for the Saturday game against No. 2 Texas A&M. All three rivalry games at Baylor Ballpark will be televised live in Central Texas by MYTX. Saturday's game against Texas A&M is scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch and Sunday's series finale is slated for 2:05 p.m. The May 17 game against Texas is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. MYTX is available over the air on channel 6.2, on Grande channel 280 and on channel 132 on Time Warner.
Additionally, baseball cards of all 35 Baylor players will be passed out prior to the lone home game against Texas.
The Bears enter this weekend's series against Texas A&M at the top of the Big 12 Conference standings with a perfect 15-0 league record. Texas A&M and Texas are tied for second place at 9-3 on the season. Baylor's 15-game winning streak in Big 12 play is the third-longest by any team in conference history - one behind Texas A&M's 16-game streak in 2008 and two behind Texas' record 17-game streak in 2000.
Baylor Ballpark opens 90 minutes prior to each game. Student tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis as soon as gates open.
