'Burgers on the Berm' Set for Oct. 10
Annual event allows fans to meet 2009 Bears.

WACO, Texas — Baylor baseball will hold its annual Burgers on the Berm event Friday, Oct. 10, at Baylor Ballpark. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. CDT; admission is free, but donations are appreciated and go directly to support the Baylor Diamond Girls.

 

An autumn tradition on the Baylor campus, Burgers on the Berm allows fans a chance to see the Bears in action and a chance to meet the players. The Bears will host an intrasquad scrimmage during the event.

 

Fans also have two more opportunities to see the Bears against outside competition this fall. Baylor hosts McLennan Community College for a scrimmage Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 4:30 p.m. The Bears also host Texas for a scrimmage Sunday, Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m. Admission to both games is free.
