Head Coach Scott Drew
On playing at Kansas State...
"Well, we knew coming in that this is a tough place to play. The fans did a tremendous job, and obviously Kansas State is as tough a place to play as anywhere in the country so we knew we had to match their intensity on the glass. I thought we did that early on, and felt like it gave us a chance to get a lead, and once we got a lead, I thought our guards did a great job on getting LaceDarius (Dunn) the ball. When he gets hot, you can really light it up in a hurry, and that's what he did tonight."
On LaceDarius Dunn's shooting...
"He's going to shoot on every possession if he can. Lace (Darius Dunn) had some good looks tonight because of those guards."
On Baylor's rebounding...
"I thought it was very important early on, especially if you let a team get going. K-State, who is one of the best rebounding teams in the country, if they get those second chances early, then they get that momentum and it's a situation that you don't want to have on the road. Quincy (Acy), Kevin (Rogers), Lace (Darius Dunn),and Josh (Lomers) did a good job early battling. In the second half, Kansas State did a great job at getting 18 second chance points. "
Guard LaceDarius Dunn
On his shooting for the night...
"I was really surprised. They kept the same defense. I have to give a lot of credit to our guards. They found the open spots and it was my responsibility to knock down the shots."
