"Well I think coming into the game we knew how tough it would be not only because it's such a tough place to play but because Missouri does such a good job forcing turnovers and that's been our problem all year long. It was an opportunity for us to get better at handling pressure, obviously, with six assists and 21 turnovers, we didn't do what we wanted to do . Give all the credit to Missouri. The good thing is we've got three games left, two at home."
On the upcoming stretch of games...
"I think we're going through a tough streak, but hopefully it's gone. And now we've got two out of three at home against good teams, as is everyone in the Big 12. I was really pleased with how we competed until the end. Most teams, you get down 15, 20, you lay down and die, especially when you're tired, and on the road. We didn't do that and I liked our leadership tonight, I liked our togetherness and I'm very confident we'll play well the last three games."
On the performance of Ratliffe and Bowers...
"I thought that, rebounding wise, especially in the first half, we didn't do a good job of blocking them out. Part of it is that they rotate guys, they stay fresh, they're active. Our guys get a little tired, maybe don't box out as much because of fatigue, and those guys are good players. So if you don't give them maximum effort, they're going to get the rebounds. I've thought all year long that they've been kind of underrated. Watching film you realize how good they are."
On preparing to play Missouri...
"Well I think that, first of all, you look at the Big 12 and everyone it's pretty much a half-court game, with Missouri it's more of a full-court game. They try to take you out of offense and just get you in transition. That's different. I know that teams that have experienced guards, that benefits them in those types of situation. We're a team with young guards and they're learning."
