Baylor advances to the Big 12 Championship semifinals for the second time in 12 tournaments, the other appearance in 2001 (as 8 seed after defeating  Colorado in OT and  Iowa State before losing to  Texas in Kansas City).
With today's win, Baylor is now 7-11 all-time in the Big 12 Championship (3-4 under Scott Drew)
Baylor has now beaten two top-seeded Big 12 Championship teams (Iowa State 2001), the only two occurrences in Big 12 history.
