MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
Baylor advances to the Big 12 Championship title game for the first time ever (12 tournaments).
Baylor becomes only third team in Big 12 history to win three games and play for tournament title (10-seed Mizzou 1997 & 5-seed Mizzou 2003), both previous teams lost.
Ninth-seeded Baylor becomes second-lowest seed to advance to Big 12 Championship final (10-seed Missouri lost to 1-seed Kansas 87-60 in first-ever Big 12 Tournament in 1997.
Tonight's win improves Baylor's record to 20-13, marking BU's fifth 20-win campaign in school history and the first back-to-back 20-win seasons in school history (21-11 in 2007-08).
With tonight's win, Baylor is now 8-11 all-time in the Big 12 Championship (4-4 under Scott Drew).
Baylor snapped a 24-game losing streak to Texas, notching its first victory since an 80-75 home win in February 1998, and now trails 155-76 in the all-time series / head coach Scott Drew is now 1-13 vs. Texas.
