• Baylor advances to Saturday's Round of 32 matchup against the UNLV-Colorado winner.
• Baylor wins its first NCAA Championship game since 2010 and is now 7-8 all-time in seven tournament appearances.
• Baylor advances to the NCAA Championship Round of 32 for the second time in three years (also in 2010) and just second time since the championship expanded past 32 teams in 1979 (three regional semifinals appearances prior to 1979's expansion).
• Baylor has won four of its last five NCAA Championship games dating to 2010.
