"We are very excited with the team's effort. We played a much better game, and I was pleased with the way the team responded today."

On Richard Hurd:
"Richard played a very good game. He helped us out on the weak side, and (Mark) Shepherd helped us out with the rebounds."

On Losing Bush:
"It's tough. We're not deep to start with so it affects us when you get into foul trouble or injuries."

"Our team finds ways to make it through. We had a little mental lapse at the end of the first half but to our guys' credit, they played hard and came out with a win."

"The team was upset at the SMU game. Our guys work hard, so we take it personally when we get blown out."
