  Head Coach Scott Drew

Opening Statement...
"I thought tonight was a great opportunity for us to come out and improve on an area that we didn't really do well in against BYU, and that is rebounding the ball. Tonight we were 51 to 20 on the glass. I thought that even though they aren't the same size as the guys we will see for the rest of the year, I thought it was a step in the right direction in helping to fix that problem."

On the amount of dunks in the game tonight ...
"The great thing is that we have got so many athletes who can play above the rim. I know for the fans it is always a great treat. The tough thing is that sometimes we do have trouble passing the ball. We have people who can make highlight plays and you just have to make sure that you are fundamentally sound, as you can see with the 15 turnovers. The 24 assists are phenomenal, but we would like to cut down the turnovers."

On the two games coming up...
"Well this game was part of a four game tournament. We beat Bethune, we beat Paul Quinn, now we play Saint Mary's and West Virginia. We win both of those we win the championship, so two steps down, two to go. Saint Mary's is 28th in the RPI and getting votes in the coach's pole. They are a very good team and very well coached. Obviously I think they will be excited to play us. Then you have West Virginia who started the year off as a younger team, but they have really been gelling and playing really good basketball. They beat Kansas State in double overtime, and Coach Huggins always does a great job. It should be two very good games for us, good tests for us. Now you put in Mississippi State and you have got three great games going into the Big 12."

Forward Quincy Acy

On his seven dunks...
"It is fun. My teammates did a great job of finding me and I did what I do best when I get the ball around the rim."

On Jacob Neubert ...
"He takes sacrifices. He just comes to practice and works as hard as he possibly can whether it is guarding guards or guarding bigs. He just gives his full effort. He worked for it, and he got out there and had probably the best production for a basketball player ever. Two points, two rebounds and a block in three minutes, that is pretty impressive."

Guard Brady Heslip

On being able to let the post players carry the offense tonight...
"My teammates just found me when I was open. They just did a great job of finding me and all I had to do was shoot it."

On Gary Franklin's shooting range ...
"He likes to shoot from deep and he has deep range. That is just what he does. He is a good shooter as well."
