WACO, Texas (AP) - Isaiah Austin had 14 points and 10 rebounds as No. 12 Baylor won its 10th straight home game, beating Southern University 81-56 on Sunday.
Austin had his first double-double of the season while leading five players in double-figure scoring for the Bears (10-1).
Tre Lynch had 27 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Southern (3-9).
Cory Jefferson (12 points) had his 40th career double-figure scoring game (10th of season, career-high ninth straight and 17th in last 18 games), and Baylor is 32-8 all-time when he scores in double figures.
Rico Gathers (12 Points) had his seventh career double figure scoring game, third of the season and third in his last four games.
Kenny Chery scored double figures (10 points) for the eighth time this season and third game in a row.
Brady Heslip (two 3-point FGs) has made at least a 3-pointer in 74 of 85 career games and two or more in 56 games.
