When did you start playing your sport?
In 2002.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
Babacar Sy, my coach in Senegal.

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Being famous.

Favorite sport other than your own?
Baseball.

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Most people call me Dou because it's short for Mamadou.

After meeting Coach Drew, what was you first thought?
I thought "this is going to be the guy to help me achieve a lot in my life."

If you could play a different position, what would it be?
Point guard because I could control the ball. They have it whenever they want.

Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
I pray.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
Lotion

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Kevin Garnett.

What is the highlight of your sports career?
Last year's game against K-State. It was my first college win.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
Playing as a big guy in the Big 12.

What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
A&M. They've beat us the last three times and we should've won all of those games.

What is one thing Coach Drew always tells you?
Rebound!

What is your favorite team road trip?
Oklahoma State. The team is nice, but I don't like the fans.

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
Coach Drew.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
The students.

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Aaron Bruce.

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Always go to school and do your best.

What are three words that describe you?
Tall, cool and impatient.

What song is stuck in your head right now?
Something by 2Pac.

What is your favorite T.V. show?
Fresh Prince.

Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
I'm the coolest dude on campus.

TV.

What is your dream job?
To play in the NBA.

My family.

Dancing.

I don't have any superstitions.

Failure.
