Waco, Texas - Baylor University's Ferrell Center will host a pair of nationally televised white-out games next week, as the fourth-ranked Lady Bears square off against the 16th-ranked Texas Longhorns, Sunday, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m., while the Baylor men will host defending national champion Kansas on Monday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m.
All fans attending the women's game vs. UT, which will be televised by Fox Sports Net, will receive a Lady Bear basketball t-shirt compliments of Time Warner Cable. Tickets for the game are priced at $10 for adults and $7 for children. On game day, fans may purchase $5 tickets by presenting a church bulletin. The Ferrell Center box office will be open Sunday from Noon through halftime.
For the first time since 2001, ESPN's Big Monday returns to the Ferrell Center on Feb. 2, when the Bears face the Jayhawks in an 8 p.m. contest. All fans attending the KU game will receive a Baylor basketball t-shirt courtesy of Texas Farm Bureau Insurance. Tickets for the Kansas game are priced at $20 for adults and $12 for children.
Prior to the Baylor vs. Kansas game, the State Farm Baylor Hour will be held outside the front entrance of the Ferrell Center from 6- 7 p.m. The show, hosted by the Voice of the Bears John Morris, will feature former Baylor players and game analysis. For only $10, fans can receive a Rudy's BBQ sandwich, bag of chips, soft drink and a rubber Baylor mini-basketball. This package will be available to the first 500 fans starting at 5:30 p.m.
