• Wednesday marks the 20th series meeting and the 18th in the Big 12 era. Kansas leads the series 17-2 and is 7-1 in Waco.
• Baylor will face a nationally ranked Kansas team for the 18th consecutive meeting; Wednesday will be the 11th meeting with the Jayhawks ranked in the Top 10.
• Wednesday marks the third Top 10 matchup in program history — all this season — and the second Top 10 men’s basketball matchup in Ferrell Center history.
• Baylor is 21-3 all-time when ranked in the Top 10 — 18 of those wins have come this season. Baylor has been ranked in the Top 10 for a program-record 12 consecutive weeks.
• With its 63-60 win Feb. 1 at Texas A&M, Baylor secured its fourth 20-win campaign in the last five seasons under head coach Scott Drew — 2007-08 (21-11), 2008-09 (24-15), 2009-10 (28-8) and 2011-12 (21-2).
• Baylor is 7-1 in games decided by 5 points or fewer this season — 6 of the 7 wins have been away from home.
• Baylor has made at least one 3-point field goal in 642 consecutive games — the second-longest active streak in the Big 12.
• Bob Cousy Award finalist Pierre Jackson has a knack for making big play after big play. In his first season at Baylor, Jackson has been a part of five go-ahead, game-tying or game-winning plays, including the game-winning 3-pointer Feb. 1 at Texas A&M.
• Perry Jones III is one of 20 players named to the 2012 Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason watch list.

• In his last 54 games, Acy has swatted 97 shots, an average of 1.80 blocks per game. By comparison, Acy blocked 62 shots in his 70 games in a Baylor uniform (0.89 blocks per game).

Missouri leads the all-time series 14-10 and holds a 10-2 series advantage in Columbia. Baylor has not won in Columbia since Dec. 17, 1948 (10 straight losses at Missouri).

HOLDING COURT AT HOME
• Since the start of the 2007-08 season, Baylor is 67-14 at the Ferrell Center (24-12 in Big 12 home games), including a 41-5 home mark in the last three seasons (15-5 in Big 12 home games). In its first seven seasons in the Big 12, Baylor was 77-38 (.670) at home. In the Scott Drew era, the Bears are 93-41 (.694) at the Ferrell Center.
• A win Wednesday against Kansas would mark a program-best sixth consecutive season that Baylor has won 12+ home games.
BAYLOR AGAINST THE TOP 25
• No. 10/10 Kansas is Baylor’s fifth Top 25 opponent of the 2011-12 season and second ranked Big 12 team it will face at home. Baylor has lost 7 straight games to Top 10 teams, with its last win vs. a Top 10 team Jan. 30, 2010, an 80-77 OT win at No. 6 Texas.

#THECARDIACBEARS
• Baylor’s 64-60 win Feb. 4 at Oklahoma State was the fifth time this season that the Bears made the game-tying, go-ahead or game-winning basket in the final 3 minutes of regulation or overtime.
• Four of those five belong to PG Pierre Jackson, who has five go-ahead, game-tying or game-winning plays to his credit this season. In Baylor’s 83-80 OT win Dec. 23 vs. West Virginia, Jackson’s 3-pointer with 27 seconds left in the second half tied the game and ultimately forced overtime. Five days later, Jackson provided the game-winning layup with 28 seconds left to give Baylor a 54-52 win Dec. 28 vs. Mississippi State.
• In Big 12 play, Jackson has drained both a go-ahead (Jan. 28 vs. Texas, 2:36 remaining) and a game-winning (Feb. 1 at Texas A&M, 17 seconds left) 3-pointer.
• Quincy Acy’s layup (assist from Jackson) with 1:29 remaining in the second half put Baylor up for good en route to a 64-60 road win Feb. 4 at Oklahoma State.
#CLUTCH IN CLOSE GAMES

• Baylor’s lone loss decided by 5 points or fewer this season was a 1-point loss Jan. 21 to Missouri (89-88).
JONES III NAMED TO OSCAR ROBERTSON, WOODEN MIDSEASON LISTS
• Sophomore F Perry Jones III was one of 20 players selected to the 2012 Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason watch list, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association announced Monday.
• Members of the association’s board of directors chose the players to be included on the list as contenders for the Oscar Robertson Trophy, to be presented to the National Player of the Year by its namesake March 30 at the USBWA’s College Basketball Awards Breakfast in New Orleans.
• Jones III is joined on the list by two other Big 12 representatives – Missouri’s Marcus Denmon and Kansas’ Thomas Robinson. PJ3, the 2011-12 Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year, was also named to the 2011-12 John R. Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 in January. A two-time Big 12 Player of the Week and 2012 John R. Wooden Award midseason list honoree, Jones III was a preseason All-Big 12 selection by the league’s coaches and is the first player in program history to earn conference preseason Player of the Year honors.
JACKSON ONE OF 11 FINALISTS FOR 2012 BOB COUSY AWARD
