JACKSON JOINS 1,000-POINT CLUB
Pierre Jackson became the 26th 1,000-point scorer in Baylor history when he scored 28 points at Oklahoma on Saturday.
• Jackson was the 5th Baylor player to reach 1,000 points in his first two seasons, joining LaceDarius Dunn, Terry Teagle, Vinnie Johnson and William Chatmon.
• Jackson was the 8th 1,000-point scorer in the Scott Drew era, joining Aaron Bruce, Curtis Jerrells, Henry Dugat, Kevin Rogers, Dunn, Tweety Carter and Quincy Acy.

JACKSON ON TRACK TO MAKE HISTORY
• Bob Cousy Award finalist Pierre Jackson leads the Big 12 in scoring (19.2) and assists (6.4), and he is on track to be the first power-6 conference player to lead his league in points and assists since Arizona's Jason Terry led the Pac-10 in 1998-99.

• Heslip ranks 3rd in the Big 12 in 3-pointers made per game (2.4) and 4th in 3-point FG percentage (40.5).

RICO'S REBOUNDS
• Freshman Rico Gathers is averaging one rebound every 2.81 minutes, which averages out to 14.2 rebounds per 40 minutes.
• Gathers ranks 14th in the Big 12 with 5.9 rebounds per game, which trails only teammate Isaiah Austin (9.2) among freshmen.
• Gathers is 4th in the Big 12 with 2.5 offensive rebounds per game, despite playing just 16.7 minutes per game.
• In Big 12 play, Gathers ranks 9th in the league with 6.9 rebounds per game and 6th with 2.6 offensive rebounds per game.
• Gathers led the Bears in points (22) and rebounds (9) in the Feb. 13 win over West Virginia, playing 22 minutes off the bench.

IMPROVED DEFENSE IN CONFERENCE PLAY
• In conference play, Baylor leads the Big 12 in 3-point FG percentage defense (.288) and ranks 2nd in field goal defense (.402), rebounding (38.1 rpg) and blocked shots (4.6 bpg).
• Baylor has held opponents to less than 50 points in three Big 12 games this year -- the Bears held conference opponents under 50 points only three times in the Big 12's first 16 seasons combined.
• The Bears held Texas Tech to 48 points for the 2nd time this season when the teams met in Waco on Feb. 9.
• Baylor limited Oklahoma State to 54 points on Jan. 21, the only time OSU has been held below 60 points this season.
• Baylor held Kansas to 61 points on Jan. 14, the Jayhawks' lowest point total at Allen Fieldhouse since Feb. 5, 2006.
• Baylor held TCU to 40 points on Jan. 12, the fewest points any Big 12 opponent has ever scored against the Bears.
• Baylor beat Texas Tech 82-48 on Jan. 8, marking the Bears' largest-ever margin of victory in a Big 12 road game.

JACKSON SCORES IN DOUBLE FIGURES IN 33 OF LAST 34
• Pierre Jackson has scored double figures in 33 of his last 34 games. He had a streak of 31 consecutive double-figure scoring games snapped when he was held to 7 points at Kansas State on Feb. 16, but he had 9 assists in that game.
• Jackson scored 574 points (18.5 ppg) and dished out 193 assists (6.2 apg) during the 31-game streak.
• Jackson's streak was the longest by a Baylor player since LaceDarius Dunn went 32 games March 6, 2010--Feb. 26, 2011.

JEFFERSON'S BREAKOUT CAMPAIGN
Cory Jefferson started just one game in his first two seasons playing at Baylor (2009-10, 2011-12; redshirted 2010-11), while playing behind four frontcourt players currently in the NBA (Ekpe Udoh, Perry Jones III, Quincy Acy and Quincy Miller).
• Jefferson has more than twice as many points this season (323) than in 55 career games over his first two years (148).
• Jefferson has scored in double figures in 17 of 27 games this year, including three 20-point games and 9 double-doubles.
• Jefferson entered the season with a career high of 25 minutes, but he's played at least 26 minutes in 19 of 27 games this season.

DOUBLE-DOUBLES ALL AROUND
• Baylor has accounted for 27% of the double-doubles by Big 12 players this season (24-of-90) -- Baylor 24, Iowa State 20, Kansas 14, Texas Tech 9, West Virginia 5, Kansas State 4, Oklahoma 4, TCU 4, Texas 3, Oklahoma State 3.
