STORY LINES
• No. 9/10 Baylor (25-5, 12-5) and Iowa State (21-9, 11-6) will battle for the 3 seed in next week’s Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. Saturday’s game will tip at 6 p.m. CST and will be televised in Texas on FOX Sports Southwest and FS Plus.
• Baylor’s 25 wins are tied for the most regular-season victories in program history. A win Saturday at Iowa State would be Baylor’s 26th regular-season win, breaking the previous record set in 1945-46 (school record for wins is 28 in 2009-10).
• Baylor’s 12 conference wins are the most (Southwest Conference or Big 12) in program history.
• Saturday marks the 22nd series meeting and the 20th in the Big 12 era. Baylor, which trails 9-12 in the all-time series, has never won in Ames — 0-9 all-time at Hilton Coliseum. Baylor is 8-11 vs. Iowa State in the Big 12 era.

IF BAYLOR LOSES TO IOWA STATE, THE BEARS ARE THE: No. 4 seed and will play Texas or Kansas State at 11:30 a.m. CST Thu., March 8, on ESPN2.

TELEVISION COVERAGE
• Saturday’s Big 12 regular-season finale between nationally ranked Baylor and Iowa State will be televised live at 6 p.m. CST on the Cyclone Television Network and will be carried locally on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports Southwest Plus. B.J. Schaben (play-by-play) and Paul Doerrfeld (analyst) will serve as the talent for the CTN broadcast.
• The game will be available in Central Texas on FOX Sports Southwest Plus (where available in Texas because of NBA games), ESPN3 and ESPN Full Court.

• With its 77-48 win Feb. 27 vs. Texas Tech, Baylor set a program record with its 12th conference victory of the season, besting the previous mark of 11 set four times (11-1 in 1945-46; 11-1 in 1947-48; 11-5 in 1987-88; and 11-5 in 2009-10).
• At 12-6, Baylor has won 10 or more Big 12 games for only the second time in program history (11-5 in 2009-10). Baylor has won 10 or more conference games for only the eighth time in program history.
• Baylor’s 25 regular-season wins are tied with the 1945-46 squad (25-5, lost in NCAA West Regional) for the most in program history. The school record for the most wins in a season is 28 set in 2009-10 (finished 28-8, lost in NCAA Elite Eight round).
