WACO, Texas - Baylor men's basketball junior shooting guard LaceDarius Dunn announced Thursday that he will return for his senior season and not declare himself eligible for the 2010 NBA Draft.

Dunn garnered honorable mention All-American honors from Yahoo! Sports after averaging 19.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 36 games during Baylor's run to the Elite Eight. The Monroe, La., native was named second-team All-Big 12 by the league's coaches and a bevy of media outlets.

Dunn established Baylor single-season records for points (704) and 3-point field goals made (116), while shattering the school's career record for 3-point field goals made (299). Dunn, who currently stands fourth all-time in Big 12 Conference history with 299 career 3-pointers made, needs 91 treys to become the league's career leader (currently held by Texas' A.J. Abrams, 389).

The 6-foot-4 guard is also on pace to become the Baylor and Big 12 career leader in scoring. Dunn will enter his senior season ranked fourth in school history with 1,739 career points. He needs 451 points to surpass Terry Teagle (2,189 points) as Baylor's all-time leading scorer. Dunn also needs 518 points to pass Texas Tech's Andre Emmett (2001-04) as the Big 12 Conference's career scoring leader.

Dunn scored in double-figures in 31 of Baylor's 36 games during the 2009-10 season, including 18 20-point games. Dunn averaged 21.0 points in four NCAA Tournament games and later earned NCAA South Regional All-Tournament Team honors after leading Bears to the Elite Eight.
