COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Baylor senior guard LaceDarius Dunn has been named to the 20-player USA Men’s Select Team that will train against the 2010 USA Basketball Men’s National Team, USA Basketball announced Thursday.

This past season, Dunn enjoyed one of the greatest all-around individual seasons in Baylor history, establishing single-season school records for points scored (704) and 3-point field goals made (116). An honorable mention All-American selection by Yahoo! Sports, the Monroe, La., native averaged a team-best 19.6 points and grabbed 4.8 rebounds in 36 games. He was named second-team All-Big 12 by the league’s coaches and several media outlets and gained national recognition for his performance in the NCAA Tournament, earning NCAA All-Tournament Team honors for the South Region.

Led by eight players owning USA Basketball experience, the 20 college players will train against the Men’s National Team during its July 19-24 training camp in Las Vegas. Dunn is one of three Big 12 representatives on the USA Select Team – Marcus Morris (Kansas) and Jacob Pullen (Kansas State).

Members of the USA Select Team will converge on Las Vegas and conduct a private training session Mon., July 19 (1:30-3:30 p.m. CDT), then train with the USA National Team over the following four days (July 20-23).

The USA training camp will feature daily practice sessions from 2-5 p.m. CDT July 20-23 at UNLV’s Cox Pavilion. The USA practices are closed to the general public. The camp will culminate with the 2010 USA Basketball Showcase, a Blue-White intra-squad game that will be held Sat., July 24, at 9 p.m. CDT at the Thomas & Mack Center on the UNLV campus.
